H.E Yusuf Al-Qaradawi On Secularism vs. Islam Part VIII Hasan Yahya, Ph.D God has said: Take not for worship two gods,  For He is Just One God: Then fear Me (and Me Alone) (16:51) On this verse, Ali comment reads: The ancient Persians believed in two powers in the Universe, one good and the other evil. The Pagan Arab s also had pairs of deities: e.g. Jibt (sorcery) and Tagut  (Evil), referred to in (Surah 4:51), note 573, or the idols  on Safa and Marwah referred to in note 160 (2:158); their names were Isaf, and Naila. And finally, To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens  and on earth; and to Him is duty due always: Then will ye fear other than God? (Q.16:52)   These Ayat, are clear, gives God the supremacy over every thing on earth or heavens, and for A slimming tea l-Qaradawi, such submission to God negate the appeal to secularism. In fact are irrelevant as Zidan put it seventeen years ago. Quran doesn,t have specific instructions to deal with modern day problems. As a conclusion, Al-Qaradawi insists that secularism is a devil call to forget God in human life, as the creator of all. Which I believe is not what it meant in Quran taken against secularism for many reasons: 1) Many people including the author himself, believes in God, and believe that secularism does not call to abandon God, or worshipping Him. It is a call to use the mind which God gives us over all  things [animals mosquitoes,  snakes, son, moon, etc.,] to manage our lives and needs on logical grounds rather than subjective grounds as religions tell us.
